INTRODUCTION
This thesis is
about under-resourced communities, which means relatively heavily populated
areas of high-poverty and low-income located in the smallest metropolitan areas.
These communities may be located in either traditional central cities or suburbs
such as in rural and inland areas in Kuala Lumpur. Poor living conditions
negatively affect physical and mental health, in addition, they can contribute to
the spread of disease, which is caused by expensive health care costs, as well
as prevent individuals from working and threaten the well-being of community
members.
BODY PARAGRAPH.
The government must take action toward this
problem by providing finance and assistance to them mentally, physically, and
spiritually. For example, give them free health care so that they are free from
disease outbreaks and allow them to contribute more to the economy. If they are
left untreated, they may be infected by an unknown disease and it will trouble
us if it spreads all over the country. On Dec. 10, 1948, the United States and 47
other nations signed the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The document showed that “everyone has the right to a standard of living
adequate for the health and well-being of oneself and one’s family, including medical care”. On the other hand, providing finance is important to buy the
necessary things for their family even in small amounts. These two sources are
highly valued by them because it involves their living conditions.
Next,
society must help and take care of them in all situations. Society plays a very
important role as they are surrounded by those in need and affected by their
views toward them. Donating funds and time, and finding volunteer opportunities
is one of the most straightforward ways to help fight poverty in the community
is to donate funds to organisations whose mission is to end these economic
disparities. As these donations add up, they can put the funds towards
fixing housing inequalities, education gaps, food insecurities, and more. The
practice of boycotting people is an act that does not give humanity and concern
to society.
CONCLUSION.
In conclusion, most people who lack these resources are
in the middle of developed urban areas. Those areas were inhabited by poor
communities and their existence has been discriminated against by those who look
at them with disgust and filth. Therefore, the government and society must take
actions and responsibilities towards them to prevent any possibilities or
undesirable things happening in Malaysian society.
